PEAS is a labor of love for our founders and volunteers. But love isn’t enough to keep the farm going. It is hard work, very hard work; carrying 60-pound bales of hay up a long driveway, often in inclement weather, cleaning stalls and hauling manure, making constant repairs around the farm.
Then there is the work we do with the animals — learning about their personalities, ensuring their quality of life, and the often heartbreaking task of caring for them when they are sick. And we do this every day because it is what is required to care for these animals we love!
What You Can Do
Money — lots of it — is needed to keep the farm going. The cost graphic shows what it takes to provide for these wonderful animals. And we must meet these financial obligations entirely through donations!
That’s where you come in. We’ll keep doing the hard work. Can you help with the financial chores?
Please donate today and give what you can. Anything you can contribute is welcome!
